oh yes news! no rss here. no twitter or myspace blog. you have to come to the site to see what the hell is up. what a drag eh?
there is a new exclusive bitcrush track on ivdt records before we melt compilation. it's free so there is no excuse eh? a shorter verion (yes 8 minutes is shorter) of the bitcrush track fathoms will also be on the next little darla has a treat compilation. news on that can be found at darla records. so know you're all "wheres the bitcrush album news mike?". well. the next bitcrush full-length will be titled of embers it is looking like there will be more than a few songs pushing the 10 minute mark. i'm working with electronics for some of the percussion again. i have no plans on setting a release date or even discussing one until it is finished. you can always check the n5MD website for news on that or the bitcrush myspace page for leaks of edits of new tracks. i also recently completed a remix for rr coseboom/halou/stripmall architecture's "hollywood ending". dynamophone records would be the one to ask about a release date for that one. in dryft news...the album will be called ventrical. it is currently on hold while i finish of embers. but ventrical will most likely be released by the n5MD digital division Enpeg (yep i practice what i preach). there will also be a new track on a hymen records compilation at some point. |

there has been a lack of updates on my part so there is a lot of news to report. sutemos the lithuanian netlabel / webzine will be releasing a compilation that will be available soon at their site. the comp features a collaboration between subtractiveLAD and bitcrush. uk photographer/videographer lyrical (liam frankland) is currently working on a video for "colder". work has begun on new material as well as deconstruction of bitcrush material for the full band live set-up. the current cast of characters include myself, serge vladimiroff of the guilty party (guitar), paul stefan a.k.a. xoloder (bass) and steve watkins of scar tissue fame on drums. this "band" is still in the embryonic stage but things look very promising. the dryft resurrection is on hold until there is more time to spend on it. there may be a unreleased, rare, and remix bitcrush release on the horizon... |
